One
truly enjoyable part of my first term was meeting and listening to the
folks in my District -- visiting with old friends and making new
friends, working together to find ways to improve the lives of our
families and our neighbors.
I
traveled a great deal through Franklin, Halifax, and Warren Counties. And
on the Freshman Tour, citizens from across the state shared their concerns about jobs, education, and
health care.
